16-12-09	The Holiday Season and busy schedules has resulted in the slowing down of the Save the Stephenville Airport Campaign. The Citizens Group anticipate to commence with a renewed vigar in the new year and also hope to be able to answer some of the questions being put forth by the people. The Stephenville Airport Citizens would like to take this opportunity to wish each and everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
10-12-09	NOTAM lifted at Stephenville International Airport. Beacon lights are installed and working.
07-12-09	CFSX announces the SAVE STEPHENVILLE AIRPORT CAMPAIGN on regularly scheduled community announcements until Christmas.
09-25-09	“The Stephenville Airport” Citizens held a rally at the airport. All regions were notified and the rally was well attended. People in attendance were told an updated Business Plan was required by Government.
05-10-09	Airport Citizens meeting included an overview of the rally and election of Executive and Directors.
08-10-09	Bill Hynes, Chairperson, contacted all Mayors in the region and asked the towns publically announce their support for the Stephenville Airport.
08-10-09	The first meeting for new Executive and Directors. The idea for “Save the Stephenville Airport Campaign” was presented and accepted.
09-10-09	Leg work begins: Legal advise sought. Small businesses are approached. Official receipts designed and ordered. Web Master contacted.
20-10-09	Legal go-ahead received. Web page up and running but still subject to change.
05-11-09	Members can be seen manning a table at the Stephenville Mall. Purpose is twofold, to accept donations and to promote the web page through the sale of “Save the Stephenville Airport ” Buttons.
17-11-09	Clayton Billard sets up table at Grand Bay Mall in Port Aux Basque. Very pleased with the results.
19-11-09	Chairman, Bill Hynes was invited to speak at the Corner Brook Rotary monthly meeting.
20-11-09	Official Campaign Launching at Razoolies Nite Club. Well attended and deemed a success.
04-12-09	Somewhat proof of the importance of the Stephenville Airport. JAZZ was diverted to Stephenville on this date.
04-12-09	The Stephenville Airport has been busy preparing for the winter season. We hope to bring you an update very soon, which will include a report on the Beacon Light installation made possible by the Town of Stephenville.
