“The Stephenville Airport” Citizens Committee believe that the Stephenville International Airport has tremendous potential for a bright future, especially when considering its strategic location, weather patterns and existing runway. We recognize that as a non-profit business the Stephenville International Airport needs revenue to prosper. With recent announcements pertaining to infrastructure expenses impacting its daily operation we have launched this campaign to ensure its viability. We realize retrofits and upgrades are necessary, however, to maximize on the revenue base, the need to increase existing fuel capacity and to secure essential equipment is identified as the PRIORITY. With credibility restored the Stephenville Airport can move forward to: Increase international and domestic traffic. Renew and develop new business relationships with existing and future airlines. Maintain and increase connections with United States and Canadian Military. Research other aviation related industry possibilities, i.e. flight schools. Introduce Stephenville to the cargo industry. Continue to be an employer in the region. Contribute in a bigger way to the economic climate in the region. Play a larger role in tourism. JOIN US by giving a donation to sustain the future of the STEPHENVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Any effort, big or small will benefit us all. All funds will be deposited in an “IN TRUST” Account to be used toward the cost of fuel tanks, equipment and other necessary cost related to building a solid future for the Stephenville Airport.
